The House of Diffusion

This newly built Lee family residence will be situated in North Vancouver, sitting on beautiful land that has views of the city and the Vancouver Harbour. Kilo suffers from photophobia while Alice suffers from insomnia. This 1100sqft three-story residence will be designed to allow both Kilo and Alice to comfortably enjoy The space without limitation and discomfort.

The design will be focusing on elements of horizontal lines, texture, and balance to evoke a harmonious and relaxed space. There will be a focus on both shadow and light and a transition from dark to light that will suit the needs of each space. The interior will play with light, scatter it and absorb it to achieve a house of diffusion that Kilo and Alice and live comfortably in
